Senior Adult Community
The property at 900 Irving Park Road will boast a modern senior adult community on the former Menard's property with town homes, condominiums, memory care and assisted living units called Verandah. This property will house the first senior retirement development within our community and it will feature a large amount of amenities, lush landscaping and a retail pad at the corner of Olde Salem Road and Irving Park Road for a future commercial retailer. The proposed development was presented at a Development Commission meeting and the project will be presented to the Village Board sometime later this year.
Country Style Donuts
A Country Style Donuts is now open in Hanover Park at 1519 Irving Park Road (the former Los Comales restaurant). The building features a newly renovated interior with an open kitchen concept so patrons can see the fresh donuts being made from scratch. This dining establishment also features soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries and ice cream.
The McDonald's at 7455 Barrington Road underwent major renovations of the existing facility which was initially built in 1998. The restaurant improvements consist of adding a dual-lane ordering system with a third pick-up window, adding a brand new Play Place addition and updating the exterior and interior finishes. The renovation construction is complete and all elements of the restaurant are open to the public.
Tap House Grill & Bar
The new Tap House Grill and Bar Hanover Park location recently celebrated their grand opening with Hanover Park representatives and Bartlett Area Chamber Members. Tap House Grill is located in the bustling Westview Shopping Center at 7600 Barrington Road. The new 5,000 square foot restaurant features indoor and outdoor dining with a full-bar.
A new 6,000 square foot medical center will be opening on the south side of Hanover Park as construction is currently underway. The former Spring Garden Restaurant, located at 1900 Army Trail Road, will undergo significant renovations which will include new elevations, interior layout, landscaping, parking, lighting and more open space. The new medical center will include space for a dentist, chiropractor, physical therapist, primary care and urgent care. The business owners have another location in a nearby community, but this will be their flagship location.
Indian Street Food
A new "Indian street-food" concept will be occupying the former Wendy's restaurant located at 1850 Army Trail Road in Spring 2018. This building will be overhauled with a holistic renovation which will include: new exterior elevations, new landscaping, renovations to the kitchen and customer dining areas. The proposed business owner will be removing the drive-through facilities to accommodate a sit-down restaurant layout.
Mid-States Graphics, Inc.
Mid-States Graphics, Inc., located at 1700 Drake Court in the Mallard Lake Business Park has operated their growing business in Hanover Park for almost 20 years. The ownership team has enjoyed their great location and low taxes where they are now adding over 20,000 square feet of new warehouse and office space to their existing facility. Construction is completed and the company is now occupying their new addition.
